Places are where you find yourself for a particular time or season. It may be your home, garden, farm, business, town or some other place. It is somewhere special and meaningful to you.

 

I can create a visual memento of your place, through a varied collection of illustrations, as something to be treasured by yourself or others, kept as a keepsake or passed on to future generations. It will tell a story, either of a moment in time or as an unfolding story over a period of days or months.

 

I describe my work as being like reportage, in that I can capture people, scenes and places in a form of visual documentary. Using a variety of illustration techniques over multiple sketches and illustrations, I will capture as much of your place as I can in a unique portfolio of creative work.

 

I draw using traditional pen and ink techniques and also digitally on an iPad. Some pictures will be quick ‘live on location’ sketches capturing particular people, scenes or moments as they happen. Others could be longer, more detailed works.
