This is a sketch made in a walled garden at Wisley which was crammed full off large palm trees, shrubs and plants. I wanted to do an very loose sketch focusing on leaf shapes and autumn colourings. I feel I can get bogged down in detail sometimes and need to add some freedom to my linework.
